Installing the xlam

+++++++++++++++++++++++++

Download both files:

1. Sas_NT_V1.xlam (This is the Excel add-in to make the macro's available to all sheets -icon has pink squares)

2. Sas_NT_V1.xlsm (This is the macro enabled WorkBook i.e, the SAS Bible program- icon has exclamation mark!)

-----------
1. In order to have the macro buttons always available and working in your Excel WorkBook
you will need to download and install the .xlam file.

This file can be placed in a directory in Excel's Library or you can create a directory
anywhere on your computer. I have created one called "Appspro" in my Program Files
directory where I place all my add-ins.

The path to my xlam file looks like this:

C:\Program Files (x86)\AppsPro\Sas_NT_V1.xlam
---------------
2. The next step is to make the add-in available to Excel. This can be done by opening
the xlsm file (Sas_NT_V1.xlsm) and following the instructions on the following link:

http://peltiertech.com/installing-an-add-in-in-excel-2007/
(also includes instructions for 2010 onwards)

The buttons will now be avaiable in all your ExcelWork books but are (obviously) only
useful in the SAS WorkBook.

PS Make sure you have enabled Macro's in your WorkBook!
