June 11, 2021: On June 6, 2002, an asteroid measuring 16-32 feet crashed into the Earth’s atmosphere above the Mediterranean, creating a nuclear blast more powerful than Hiroshima.

Kept that quiet didn’t they? (lol)  I don’t remember that being on the news 20 odd years ago? We could do with one impacting the G7 meeting in Cornwall and do us all a favor? (see the UK Column Report below).  NEO (Near Earth Objects) are becoming more common. It is only a matter of time before we have a meaningful impact.
