The situation in Yemen

Yemen’s Ansar Allah are on the offensive on Marib city, once again. The Saudi-led coalition is struggling.

The Houthis, as Ansar Allah, are colloquially known, reportedly captured 10 out of 14 districts of the city in their latest push on March 4th.

The Houthi government deputy foreign minister, Hussein al-Ezzi said that apart from the significant central district of Marib city, every other significant location was under their control. A key strategic location, home to one of the largest oil infrastructures in Yemen, Marib has seen intensified fighting and a renewed military offensive. It is also the last Saudi stronghold in the relatively calm area of Central Yemen. If entirely lost by the Saudi-led coalition, the city would allow the Houthis to carry out even more attacks on targets within the Kingdom’s borders.

Erdogan better stop poking the bear. Turkish troops try to shoot down Russian planes so Russians blow them up. Russians are funny like that, no sense of humor.  Erdogan back-stabbed Russia and reneged on the deal they made.  Putin should not take the betrayal personally  because Turkey does it to everyone.  Someone should tell Erdogan that he is not a super power. He is fighting two wars one in Libya and one in Syria and Turkey is a NATO member. Now he is trying to curry favor with the West by supporting western backed terrorists in Idlib. However, that means direct confrontation with Russia as well as the battle hardened Syrian army.   And how the West is squealing. They are in full propaganda mode saying that a million refugees are in danger from the Syrian army who are raping and pillaging (lol).  Yeah, OK…..we get it…..they are “safe” with ISIS.  You can lock Julian Assange up but you can’t lock us all up for noticing your criminality.The SAA (Syrian Arab Army) with Hezbollah, Russia,Iran, Iraq, and Shia militias is really fighting the War On Terror

Israeli preemptive attacks on Syrian Army occurring along the Golan border. Syrian television reported on Thursday night that Israeli helicopters attacked Syrian army targets in the Quneitra area. The aircraft reportedly came from the Golan Heights area. It was also reported that three Syrian soldiers were lightly wounded in the attack.

Russia gave him another chance after he shot down one of their fighter jets and he has thrown it back in their face. He was to be a regional power but no one trusts him anymore. Southfront is using a new technique to avoid censorship. It employs satire and humor and turns the “bad guys” (in this case ISIS and al-Qaeda terrorists) and their supporters (Turkey) into the “good guys”.  Southfront had an article explaining why they do this. That’s why they are still surviving in Facebook…For now!!! Veterans Today and Infowars etc chose the direct method and were banned everywhere from Facebook,Twitter, Youtube and so forth. SF is taking precautions knowing well that Uncle Sam is watching. Satire can survive a lot longer as News only for the smart ones! Enjoy what you have now because there is talk of banning these sites from Google altogether.  They begin one of their articles with the words…..“The PR department of the Turkish Defense Ministry dealt a crushing blow to forces of the Assad regime…”

Now watch the following video and remember this – Turkey has invaded Syrian territory and is helping the terrorists. Russia is present in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government.  Neither Syria nor Iraq want the presence of the US (or the ISIS/al-Qaeda terrorists). 

 

Please Support SouthFront and other alternative media.  In the above video they mentioned the M5 motorway that was liberated by the Syrians.  Now have a look at the reaction of these Syrian men dancing beside a sign that says that music is forbidden (HARAM).  They are Syrians liberated from ISIS/al-Qaeda terrorists by the Syrian army. They would rather have Assad in charge then terrorist nutters supported by Turkey (and the West).

What the heck is Turkey doing?   It seems that Turkey is playing both sides against the middle.  Turkey turned towards Russia after Erdogan was almost removed in a coup. Turkey dropped Saudi Arabia (the US and Israel’s ally) in the do-dah when it released the recordings of Jamal’s murder in the SA embassy.  Then Turkey invaded the northern part of Syria (against US wishes) in order to remove Kurds and protect ISIS.  Turkey is also involved in Libya and  stirring up trouble about  Mediterranean gas fields. Turkey and its (terrorist) allies are now being pushed out of Syria. This can (and has) led to direct confrontations with Russia (as well as the Syrian army). What Turkey is now doing benefits the US and Israel.  Where does that leave us?   It leaves us with the fact that Erdogan cannot be trusted at all. He plays both sides in the hope of becoming a regional power -the new Ottoman Empire.  Neither Russia nor the USA (and by extension Israel) will allow that to happen. Erdogan better pull in his Turkey neck, before someone chops of his head.

  First we turn to the Grayzone, which carries articles in English and Spanish and seems to have good South American coverage.  Also articles on the Palestinians and the Gaza strip and on operation Condor 2.0: After Bolivia coup, Trump dubs Nicaragua ‘national security threat’ and targets Mexico.  I have been following this on other feeds. It seems (after the assassination of the Mormons) that Trump wants to declare Mexico a narco state (terrorist threat). This looks like the Monroe doctrine. The US is increasingly active in South America. The first article we high light (keeping with the M.E. theme) is the one on Lebanon. Note the word Technocracy
