Some video bloggers and news papers are still insisting that Russia is being destroyed by sanctions. That is not what I am seeing. For some reasons this video reminds me of the EU imposing sanctions on Russia:
Here we have Joe Blogs telling us how much Russia is going to suffer. Seems to me that if you have oil, gas, wheat and fertilizer you won’t suffer that much. The sanctions are counterproductive. They are strengthening Russia and pushing Asia closer together.

Sri Lanka is in dire straits and Russia is offering oil, coal and wheat despite Sri Lanka being incapable of paying off any debt. Of course Russia is not solely acting out of goodwill but out of self-interest. Actions like this will push Russia, India and China closer together. Comment underneath: Well, someone might argue that this was filmed in Moscow, while in other cities and regions all the shelves in supermarkets are empty. And that would not be true. There is a YouTube channel called "Survival Russia" made by a genuinely fun Dane living in Russia with his wife and daughter in a small village in the middle of nowhere (near the Ural Mountains, actually). He made several videos in local supermarkets for his followers, showing the products in the store. And apparently, many simply cannot believe what they see, calling the store "fake" and so on, because the shelves are full even in remote regions.
