Don’t Look up!

Despite me having watched no TV for nearly two years I watched this movie on Netflix over Xmas.  I enjoyed it even though it was utterly ridiculous  and more of a comedy spoof rather than a disaster movie.   Spoiler alert – here follow my thoughts on the movie which I regard as a type of parable or social commentary.

The plot has a giant planet killer asteroid heading towards earth and suddenly discovered at an observatory. It follows the adventures of the Professor and the PhD student trying to warn the world about the incoming disaster.  Eventually they get a slot on a highly rated morning news show and even get to brief the female President.   The media is exposed as morally corrupt and compromised as is the President.  A mission to vaporize the asteroid with nukes is cancelled because a billionaire wants to disintegrate the rock and mine the pieces that fall into the sea because they contain trillions of precious metals.  The freakish billionaire controls his drones with AI and has thousands of data points on everyone and his algorithms allow him to predict future human behavior (sounds familiar).   The media are instructed to counter the we are all going to die message with positive propaganda (jobs and prosperity for everyone) and to instruct people Don’t look up otherwise they will see the approaching comet and become afraid.   The billionaire mission fails…people go nuts….the earth is hit. The end.

Despite the absurdities I enjoyed it even though it had the opposite message to what they intended.  The film is trying to say that you are being manipulated….the earth is getting warmer etc…..the climate deniers represent vested interests.  They don’t want you to look at the data (or something like that).  I believe DiCaprio was a Young Global leader or at least part of the in-group Davos set.  He certainly supports the Greta agenda while jetting everywhere and living in his mansions.

However, the movie is true if you turn it on it’s head.  They are gaslighting us and manipulating us about climate change and about the virus. The billionaires do want to control  us and the politicians are venal and corrupt.

Here comes the planet killer

And just in time they discovered an asteroid yesterday heading straight for earth (lolz).  Is this life imitating art or is it preprogramming?   We obviously need more fear.  Do I get to play DiCaprio?  Can I at least have his salary?

It isn’t due to fly by us till 3rd January when it’s closest approach will be some 253,981 km. 2021 YK is an asteroid, not a comet.  3D Solar Systems Orbit (see tweet bellow) does not have the trajectory of 2021 YK (probably too soon) and NASA details here.

Whatever you do, don’t look up (lolz).

There is definitely something going on.  Are they getting ready for a false flag or is Iran going to retaliate?  Steve quotes a prophetic test from Isaiah about  Damascus.  Whatever you might make of the original context of the prophecy and it’s current application it does show that the enmity runs deep and is thousands of years old.  And God is not pleased with the behavior of Israel. They have brought war, deception and destabilization to the region.
