GEOMAGNETC STORM BRINGS DOWN STARLINK SATELLITES: As many as 40 Starlink satellites are currently falling out of the sky–the surprising result of a minor geomagnetic storm last week. This is a cautionary tale: Even relatively mild space weather can have big consequences. Reentry videos and more @ Spaceweather.com.

Two days before launch a CME hit Earth’s magnetic field. It was not a major space weather event. In fact, the weak impact did not at first spark any remarkable geomagnetic activity. However, as Earth passed through the CME’s wake, some sputtering G1-class geomagnetic storms developed. It was one of these minor storms that caught the Starlink satellites on Feb. 4th.

Geomagnetic storms heat Earth’s upper atmosphere. Diaphanous tendrils of warming air literally reached up and grabbed the Starlink satellites. According to SpaceX, onboard GPS devices detected atmospheric drag increasing “up to 50 percent higher than during previous launches.”

“The Starlink team commanded the satellites into a safe-mode where they would fly edge-on (like a sheet of paper) to minimize drag,” says SpaceX. “Preliminary analysis show the increased drag at the low altitudes prevented the satellites from leaving safe-mode to begin orbit raising maneuvers, and up to 40 of the satellites will reenter or already have reentered the Earth’s atmosphere.”

The Sociedad de Astronomia del Caribe apparently caught one of the reentries over Puerto Rico on Feb. 7th:

SpaceX says that the deorbiting satellites “pose zero collision risk with other satellites and by design demise upon atmospheric reentry—meaning no orbital debris is created and no satellite parts hit the ground.”

Is this creepy or what?

Prison Planet

Perhaps it is just me……perhaps I am paranoid but I find the idea of a grid of satellites above my head plain creepy. Talk about “prison planet”. Now , of course there are enormous benefits such as GPS and internet access anywhere on earth (if you have 5G). So straight away you can have the “health benefits” (LOL) anywhere.   And they would never use their satellites to track you or spy on you perish the thought.  Can you imagine 12,000 of these…..then ramping up to 20,000?   And that does not even take China into account.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What about China?

China is rapidly building its own network and you can bet that it will be bigger and will be built fast.  In fact, they are almost at the point of decoupling from the GPS system. It almost makes me wonder why China and Russia want to be able to decouple their internet from the global system and want their own GPS system. If I was suspicious I might anticipate that they are getting ready for war. Can’t fire hyper-sonic missiles etc and invade countries if you can’t find them! Perhaps they are afraid that the US is going to pick a fight.

 

Space Force

I know….why don’t we have a “space force” then we can shoot down other satellites.  No, that is a silly idea.  Oops…someone beat me to it.  Now we can extend our malignancy to outer-space.  Is there no part of this universe safe from our *****!!!!!

 What is wrong with me?

Perhaps there is something wrong with me in wanting an CME (Rev 16:8) to fry these satellites and a huge earthquake (Rev 16:18) to drop California to the bottom of the ocean but it would solve a lot of problems wouldn’t it?   At this point nothing else will stop the internet of things, surveillance capitalism and oppressive Kleptocracy and Technocracy.     It is a good thing that God will stop them.  They deserve whatever is coming to them in spades and then some.
