Abraham Accord

Abraham Accord

Presumably this is called the Abraham accord because all the nations surrounding Israel are considered to be descendants of Abraham and all claim Abraham as their father and are counted as belonging to the Abrahamic faiths.

Of course, we cynically refer it to the promise given to Abraham in Gen 15: 18-21 which covenanted the land from the river of Egypt to the great river Euphrates.  At the time the promise was given ten nations were enumerated as already dwelling in the land. Undoubtedly, the promise given to Abraham formed the basis of the Greater Israel or Yinon Plan:

 The beast is rising

One article puts it like this:

"Bahrain is fully ready as it has opened its interfaith dialogue forums to Israelis years ago. Oman and Kuwait will be watching. But the big prize – the one that would shift the ground in the Middle East – is none other than Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is a friend and ally to Mohammed bin Zayed, and the young Saudi prince has already launched the greatest reform in the history of the Kingdom. He has been behind the Gulf diplomatic renaissance – along with Trump since the Riyadh summit. But he must carefully complete his deep reforms at home in order for him to lead the Arab Coalition on the road to Jerusalem, to pray in peace."

Israel (using the USA) has already fragmented the Middle East.  The attack on Beirut  and the burning of the wheat harvest in Syria has left them vulnerable. Of course, Israel blames Hezbollah for the Beirut attack. Iran is under increasing pressure and the Palestinians are constantly bombed. It is only a matter of time before they all bow the knee to Israel.

So, the wonderful new peace is celebrated – but is it really peace?

The Jews heal the world

The Christian-Zionist website Breaking News Israel now called Israel 365 News prefaces an article about the normalization of flights with the following quote (emphasis mine):

In those days, ten men from nations of every tongue will take hold—they will take hold of every Yehudi by a corner of his cloak and say, “Let us go with you, for we have heard that Hashem is with you.” Zechariah 8:23 (The Israel BibleTM)

https://www.israel365news.com/158210/saudi-arabia-bahrain-agree-to-open-airspace-to-flights-east-from-israel/

There are a few things to note here. Firstly the mention of ten nations – the same number appears in Gen 15 and Rev 17 and secondly this translation is tendentious as it comes from their own translation (Israel BibleTM) even the Jewish Publication Society (JPS) renders it differently:

JPS Zechariah 8:23 Thus saith the LORD of hosts: In those days it shall come to pass, that ten men shall take hold, out of all the languages of the nations, shall even take hold of the skirt of him that is a Jew, saying: We will go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.'

The original text renders a Jew (singular) not every Jew (Yehudi). The Jew being referenced here is the Messiah – Jesus Christ – otherwise called Immanuel or God with us.  The translation offered to Christians by the Israel Bible is deceptive.  It is the work of Jacob the deceiver.  The Jews talk about Tikun Olam or “heal the world” but by that they mean subject the world and impose their will. Collectively the Jewish nation is not able to heal anyone. It cannot even heal itself. And the Jewish nation will have no lasting peace until it makes peace with God.
