We are at the end of our age and much of our scientific knowledge is wrong.  Dark matter does not exist and uniformitarianism cannot account for spontaneous speciation.

The Great Year

The Great Year

Update 1.3 (minor corrections,spelling etc)

This article will draw together scientific and mythological evidence to clarify what has been lost to the sands of time and I believe deliberately hidden.  Although the approach I take is from a Biblical perspective there is considerable overlap with other belief systems and myths from antiquity.  Why is that?  The ancients were not “enlightened” like us as they had no “science” and yet they built structures that we would struggle to build today (Pyramids, Stonehenge).  All those structures were related to the heavens.  For them there was no difference between science and religion.  When I completed my exposition of the Apocalypse, I gave it the title Pattern Recognition In The Apocalypse (PRITA) in recognition of the repeated, cyclical nature of the revelation.   In similar fashion it is becoming apparent that the whole Bible speaks of the cyclical nature of the cosmic cycles and of “heaven” coming down to earth.

The cosmic cycle of the Great Year

The term Great Year is defined by scientific astronomy as “The period of one complete cycle of the equinoxes around the ecliptic” which is a period 25,920 years. [1] This is known as precession.

As a circle has 360 degrees (an Assyro-Babylonian concept) [2] this means that it takes 25,290/360 = 72 years to traverse one degree.    The average global life expectancy in 2021 was 72.81 years. Our lives are therefore one day in the Great Year of the celestial clock and this accords with the threescore and ten years accorded to man (Ps 90:10) in which Moses says, “For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night” (v.4). Indeed, it takes humanity 360 generations of 72 years to complete one cycle of the cosmic clock. Well might Moses pray “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom’ (v.12) as he had but little time left because he knew he was about to die and was not allowed to enter the promised land. He was only able to view it from the top of Mt Nebo.  However, I digress.

Here is a scientific demonstration of the physics behind the Great Year:

Precession of Earth (3 min)

This article will examine the biblical ramifications of this little understood cosmic cycle that was obviously well understood by the ancients.  The cycle acts as a cosmic “clock” as our solar system travels through space. That does not mean that the zodiac influences or determines our future directly (as in astrology) but that it may well indicate when we enter or transition into “bad sectors” of space where electro-magnetic energy, interstellar dust clouds, plasma and comets can upset our equilibrium.  We are not a static system but dynamic and our solar system is moving through space at 70,000 km/hr and indeed our Galaxy is moving, while space itself is expanding.  Wrap your head around that.

Uniformitarianism verses Catastrophism

Before we engage with the mythology, I would like to say a few things about the two different geological worldviews.  The first is Uniformitarianism or Gradualism which posits that the earth changes we see are the result of millions upon millions of years of gradual change.  Mountains are thrust up gradually.  New land (islands) appears gradually.  Erosion gradually carves out rivers and wears away mountains.  New species adapt gradually (and randomly) in a process known as evolutionary Darwinism.   Now, I am not one to deny the mechanism of evolutionary change and pressure to speciate, but does it tell the whole story?  Life is far too complex for such simplistic all-encompassing paradigms and the evidence says otherwise.

We have had periods where the climate was in a steady state. That was the dinosaur age and the extra CO2 and higher temperatures allowed lush vegetation and huge creatures to develop.  They ruled the earth 60 million years ago.  No glacial periods.  Sixty-million years ago, dinosaurs had the ultimate bad day. With a devastating asteroid impact, a reign that had lasted 180 million years was abruptly ended. It went boom.  And then suddenly mammals appeared, and we started to have ice-ages interspersed with warm (inter-glacial) periods.  New life appeared suddenly.   The fossil records point to the sudden extinction and arrival of new species.   Does evolution occur?   Yes, but at times it seems to be accelerated and intelligently directed.  One theory calls it punctuated equilibrium.  We have long periods of gradual change and then boom. I believe that Uniformitarianism or materialistic Darwinism has been deliberately used to pull the wool over our eyes.  Materialism provides some of the answers but not all of them, especially not the mechanism for rapid change.

Archeoastronomers

Archeoastronomers are interested in the ages because some researchers believe that ancient civilizations often depicted cultural references to the ages. Archeoastronomers in general do not ‘believe’ in astrology, but they study the cultural traditions of societies that did refer extensively to astrology.

Think of it like this – Stonehenge was obviously built with some sort of cosmic and/or religious function in mind to do with the equinoxes etc. Remember religion and science were one and the same in archaic times.  If you can determine what the sky looked like thousands of years ago (by mathematical calculations of orbits etc) then you can theorize why the structure was built.  The same with the Pyramids and their orientation to the stars (Sirius I think?) this also allows you to date structures because of the precession.  Watch this very interesting video (14 min):

HIDDEN MATHEMATICS – Randall Carlson – Ancient Knowledge of Space, Time & Cosmic Cycles (2 hours)

Extremely interesting associations with “sacred geometry” that go far beyond “coincidence” and that show that the ancients were not dumb cave men. This understanding reaches far back in antiquity beyond modern history. I believe some of it has been purposefully hidden and obfuscated as possession of such knowledge gives the ruling class an advantage. It is not for nothing that the Masonic motto is Order out of Chaos. As Randall points out all cultures have these cycles look at these numbers coming back in the Hindu religion in the Yuga Cycle.

Giorgio de Santillana (1902 – 1974) became professor of the History of Science in the School of Humanities at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1954, and along with Hertha von Dechend they published a book entitled Hamlet's Mill, An Essay on Myth and the Frame of Time in 1969. It was an attempt to marry science and mythology that had become separated by the ancient Greeks. Santillana and von Dechend believed that the old mythological stories handed down from antiquity were not random fictitious tales but were accurate depictions of celestial cosmology clothed in tales to aid their oral transmission. The chaos, monsters, and violence in ancient myths are representative of the forces that shape each age. They believed that ancient myths are the remains of preliterate astronomy that became lost with the rise of the Greco-Roman civilization.

In Hamlet's Mill it is stated that the ancient Greeks knew of three successive destructions that correlate to three ages, and that since the beginning of history the vernal point has moved through Taurus, Aries, and Pisces. Hesiod in Works and Days refers to five successive ages. [3]

Cyclical Resets

Cosmogony and the Great Year in the Bible

Sir William Drummond published Oedipus Judaicus: Allegory in the Old Testament in 1811. Drummond expounds on his hypothesis that a greater part of the Hebrew Scriptures are merely allegorical writings that hide the true content. Furthermore, the Orientalists were mainly concerned with astronomy and most of their ancient myths are really disguised astronomical records. Drummond believed that the 49th chapter of Genesis contains prophecies allied to astronomy and that the twelve tribes of Israel represented the 12 zodiacal signs.

Drummond makes his case that at the time of Abraham, the Amorites first recorded the shift from the Age of Taurus to the Age of Aries as represented by the year commencing with the Ram (Aries) rather than the bull (Taurus). The Book of Joshua indicates that by the time of Moses the equinoxes had already shifted from Taurus to Aries, as Moses had ordained that the civil year should commence with the month of Nisan (Aries) rather than the month of Taurus. The feast of the Passover is probably a celebration of the Age of Aries with the Paschal Lamb representative of Aries, traditionally associated with the symbol of the ram or sheep

Drummond also hypothesizes that most number references in ancient texts were coded to hide their real value by multiples of 1,000. For example, in the Old Testament Joshua commanded 30,000 men, and he slew 12,000 inhabitants of the city of Ai. The historian Berosus stated the Babylonians commenced astronomical observations 49,000 years (7 × 7 x 1000) before Alexander the Great. Most early references were related to 7 (Sun, Moon, and five visible planets), 12 (number of zodiacal signs and months per year), 30 (degrees per sign of the zodiac), and higher combinations of these numbers and other numbers associated with astronomical observations and astrology.

The problem of understanding the exact nature of ancient astrology is that it was only partly documented, leaving the question of the extent of their undocumented astrological knowledge. Michael Baigent in From the Omens of Babylon: Astrology and Ancient Mesopotamia suggests that there is evidence that there was probably an older or parallel oral tradition of astrology at the time of publication of Enuma Anu Enlil believed published over the period (1595–1157 BC). The ancient Mesopotamians believed that history repeated itself after a massive cycle of many years [4]

Heaven on Earth

The Biblical story is that heaven comes down to earth.  The disciples are taught to pray that God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven.   At the end of the Apocalypse the New Jerusalem descends out of heaven onto Earth.  Of course, this is a metaphor because it is a city built out of people.

From Genesis onward the creation points to the earth becoming a temple or sanctuary.  The word for “lights” in Genesis is the same word for “lamps” used in the wilderness tabernacle and they were given for signs and seasons (Heb. moed) denoting the religious festivals regulated by moon phases.  The garden of Eden is depicted as a sanctuary (temple) with an eastern entrance and cherubim guardians. The tree of life is depicted in the wilderness tabernacle as a light giving menorah with almond flowers and buds. The ox-faced-cherub in the tabernacle guards the Ark of the Covenant within the inner sanctuary.  The “sea” (washing laver) is supported by a base of twelve oxen.  We are told that Moses was shown the pattern of the tabernacle when he was on the mountain.  What was he shown?  He was shown the heavenly temple. The Zodiac constellations.   He was shown the cherubim with the eagle (Aquila) constellation, ox (Taurus) man (Water pourer) and the lion (Leo). He was shown the seven sisters or Pleiades (seven branched Menorah).  The tabernacle was arranged with an eastern entrance and the tribes were arranged around the tabernacle in the form of the Zodiac.  The message was clear, God was dwelling among his people Israel.  Heaven had come down to earth.   They were to be a Holy people and they were given a law to keep in the same way that Adam and Eve had been given a law (do not eat i.e., do not snatch at divinity).   However, Israel failed at this new beginning because it regarded the law as a manner of self-deification and failed to recognize that the law and its sacrifices pointed to a covering that only God could provide (as he did with Adam and Eve).

The Zodiac and constellations are linked with the tribal arrangement around the sanctuary. The arrangement of the tribes around the tabernacle is meant to signify that heaven has come down to earth with God dwelling amongst his people:  The Zodiac and the twelve tribes

And what then of the Balaam oracle when the King of Moab sought to hire the prophet to curse the nation of Israel when they were about to enter the land. The prophecy is concerned with the “latter days” –

“He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed [Jacob’s] shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted”. (Numbers 24:7)

This is obviously a depiction of Aquarius the water pourer which sign we are about to transition into having left Pisces the fish (symbol of Christianity) and Aires (the Lamb or goat) and Taurus (the domesticated ox representing Israel under the law and the face on the cherubim ark).   The Milky Way is the celestial river.

In Numbers (24.14) and the “star out of Jacob” (24.17) is interpreted as a messianic reference. Note the words in v.19: “God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?” (Num 23:19) This is very similar to Ezekiel 39:8; “this is the day whereof I have spoken”. It might be objected that Num 24:7 mentions Agag and not Gog, however, both the Septuagint (LXX) and the Samaritan Pentateuch (SP) have Gog in this prophecy.[5]

John makes it clear both in his Gospel (John 4.14) and in the Apocalypse that Jesus is the source of “living water”- the water emerges from the throne where God and the Lamb sit and what begins as a trickle becomes a roaring stream as his saints are sent into the world to heal the nations. This crystal-clear river has the tree of life situated on either side yielding twelve crops of fruit every month. The description is very similar to the prophecy of Balaam where the tents of Jacob are depicted as beautiful gardens and trees planted on the riverside (Num 24.16) a metaphor for the Milky Way – the celestial river of stars surrounded by the twelve zodiac constellations. “And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband” (Rev 21.2). It is an image of the “heavens” descending to earth and the bearing of fruit every month speaks of a constant repetition of the harvest festival of tabernacles.[6]

We have then a very complex cosmogony that depicts the old heaven and earth passing away and a new heaven an earth arriving.  The old order is destroyed, and God makes his dwelling place among men.

Appointing the Elohim

The numbers 70, 71 and 72 are found in many ancient mythologies denoting the sons of the “gods” usually 70 sons presided over by a high god and his consort.[7]  In Israel the 70 are demythologized and become the 70 judges (Elohim).  Together with Moses and Aaron they became the 72 Elohim.  They form the basis of the Sanhedrin (Greek, Seventy) in the time of Christ which together with the high priest equates to 71.  The MT has a table of nations in Genesis 10 with 70 races and the LXX version has 72. Chabad explain how the number 72 relates to the nations.     The Gospel of John uses the term “the Jews” in a pejorative sense 71 times to denote the high priest and Sanhedrin. When Jesus is challenged and accused of blasphemy in John 10, he responds with the divine council motif from Psalm 82[8]

“I have said, Ye are gods (elohim) ; and all of you are children of the most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.  Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations”. (Psalm 82:6-8)

Jesus’ argument is that unlike them his sonship is of a different order of magnitude similar to that of the angel in the wilderness who bore the Yahweh name and was superior to Moses and the Sanhedrin.

“Behold, I send an Angel before thee, to keep thee in the way, and to bring thee into the place which I have prepared. Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions: for my name is in him” (Exod 23:20-21).

The number 72 is therefore mythologically and typologically closely connected with the gentile nations and with the “gods”.  The intention was that the chosen nation (Israel) should rule the world, but they failed in their mission.  Randall points out that the Greek word for Truth has the value of 72.[9]  I found this particularly interesting in the light of Gal 2:14 where Paul admonishes Peter for withdrawing from eating with Gentiles:

"But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth (τὴν ἀλήθειαν) of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles(ἔθνη), and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews?"

In this verse another form of the phrase the truth is used, and it has the value of 472 while Gentiles has the value of 72.[10]  Surprisingly (or perhaps not so surprising after all) the English word gentile late Middle English: from Latin gentilis ‘of a family or nation, of the same clan’ (used in the Vulgate to refer to non-Jews) also has a value of 72.[11]

When we realize that Covid 19 has an English ordinal value of 72 (53+19) and that the twelve letters of the furin cleavage site (ccucggcgggca) have an English ordinal value of 72 (as well as containing 5G) and this coupled with the Jewish “rule of 72” for calculating compound interest[12] we have the two attack vectors through which the 72 Jewish Elohim (=gods or rulers) hope to subject the “72 gentile” nations.

Finally, the number 72 and 71 have fascinating properties in relation to the year lengths and the Great Year:

72 x 360= 25,920

71 x 365 = 25,920

These numbers were chosen for their astrological and mythological-typical symbology.

The Heavenly Jerusalem

Do not fear the end of the age as something beautiful is about to emerge. In the end we all die, and our lives are but one degree, one day, in the Great Year of the cosmic clock.  It is not how you die but how you live that matters. Only a fool could deny the purpose behind such beauty and mathematical perfection.  We are heading for a Great Reset that much is certain, and it is also certain that certain elements know what is coming and are gaming it.  Do not fear as their victories will be hollow.  No matter how great their power it is puny in comparison.  They are about to see a display of real power.   Our magnetic shield is failing and the earth beneath our feet may crumble, and the earth may burn, but the Lord God is our shield and our exceeding great reward.

“Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward” (Genesis 15:1).

Our shield is not the shield of man (Red Shield = Rothschild/ red= adom/edom ). The wicked hide in their bunkers and hoard their riches but we make God our rock. Go forth in this new year and witness. The end is nigh.

“Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Spirit: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained. (John 20:2-23)

Notes

[1] The modern measurement is 25,772 years but on this see the Randall Carlson clip taken from Ep075 Great Year Model of Cyclic Time & Periodic Disaster -Kosmographia: The Randall Carlson Podcast (1:31).  I prefer the measurement from antiquity as it was formulated over a much longer period. Also, Isaac Newton (1642 – 1726/27) determined the cause of precession and established the rate of precession at 1 degree per 72 years=25,920 years.

[2]  The 360-day calendar is interesting.  See Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/360-day_calendar   It seems to be an average of lunar and solar but that does not discount that the past may have had different year lengths.  The length of the day may have varied over the period of approx 26,000 years as the natural circadian rhythm of humans suggests variation of day length in the past. The solar year is currently 365.25 days hence leap years every four years.  However, if we use the rounded figures (no doubt determined by the ancients) and the precession calculated by Newton giving a cycle of 25,920 years (rather than the modern calculation of 25,772 years) then years of varying lengths between 360 days and 365 days gives the rate of precession at 1 degree at 72 years or at 71 years respectively.

[12] See: https://www.investopedia.com/ask/answers/what-is-the-rule-72/ The law in Deut 23:19 was not intended to be used against strangers who were dwelling among them. They were instructed to treat strangers and aliens with respect and reminded that they were once strangers in Egypt. Strangers were to be treated kindly (Deut 24:17-21) but it was OK to charge a foreigner (outside the land?) interest. This was not a license to swindle, steal, deceive and cheat. It was not an excuse for usury. Interest is not usury. They were meant to be a holy people not a nation of swindlers. Moreover, the seed of Abraham was to be a blessing to all nations (Genesis 12:3 …in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed) so gentiles would share the same covenant hope and no longer be aliens or strangers.
