The saying goes that the greatest trick the Devil ever played was convincing us that he did not exist.\u00a0 Well, he most certainly exists, and he is mentioned in the Bible.\u00a0 We know for example that Satan tempted Jesus \u2013 the question is <strong>not whether he exits<\/strong> (we use the title Satan and Devil here interchangeably even though they mean different things) but what he is.\u00a0 Well one thing we can say with utter certainty is that he is the enemy of mankind because that is what the word Satan means.\u00a0 It means enemy.<\/p>\n<h2>Know your Enemy<\/h2>\n<p>Satan is the Hebrew for enemy, but how can you defeat your enemy if you do not understand who or what he is?\u00a0 I post this video below because I think it is informative and gets you thinking (not because I think it is completely correct).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"devil\" width=\"614\" height=\"461\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JKZJQ1rHiiA?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The video says that Jesus referred to Satan as the god of this world. That is not entirely true it was the apostle Paul, and he did not name Satan explicitly, but it is a fair assumption:<\/p>\n<pre>\u201cIn whom the <strong>god of this world<\/strong> hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them\u201d (2 Cor 4v4).<\/pre>\n<p>Satan (actually Kosmokrator see fn.9) is also called the &#8220;prince of the power of the air&#8221; in Eph 2:2. He is the &#8220;ruler of this world&#8221; in John 12:31. However, the prince of this world would find \u201cnothing in Jesus\u201d (John 14:30). In the gospel of John, the reference may well be to worldly, human rulers. The rulers and princes in this case could be the authorities (High priest, Herod, Pilate etc) who put him on trial (1 Cor 2:5-8). The references to human rulers is less likely in Eph 2:2 but we note that \u201cSatan\u2019s\u201d capabilities are limited to this world (the air not the heavens) Whoever he is, <strong>he has limited capabilities.<\/strong> He does not rule the universe and we find his subjects only on earth. Nowhere else. His domain is over unbelievers only (the children of disobedience). Believers are no longer under the rule of Satan (Col 1:13).<\/p>\n<p>So then?\u00a0 Who is this Satan?\u00a0 Is he a rebellious angel that God kicked out of heaven? Non-Canonical Jewish literature such as the book of Enoch seems to suggest as much.\u00a0 The book of Enoch speculates on the fallen ones and relates it to the Nephilim in Genesis 6. Satan is even given the name Azazel (from Wikipedia):<\/p>\n<pre>In the Dead Sea Scrolls, the name Azazel occurs in the line 6 of 4Q203, The Book of Giants, which is a part of the Enochic literature found at Qumran.<strong><a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[1]<\/a><\/strong> Despite the expectation of Brandt (1889)<a href=\"#_edn2\" name=\"_ednref2\"><strong>[2]<\/strong><\/a> to date no evidence has surfaced of Azazel as a demon or god prior to the earliest Jewish sources among the Dead Sea Scrolls.<strong><a href=\"#_edn3\" name=\"_ednref3\">[3]<\/a><\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe Book of Enoch brings Azazel into connection with the Biblical story of the fall of the angels, located on Mount Hermon, a gathering-place of demons of old. <strong><a href=\"#_edn4\" name=\"_ednref4\">[4]<\/a><\/strong> Here, Azazel is one of the leaders of the rebellious Watchers in the time preceding the Flood; he taught men the art of warfare, of making swords, knives, shields, and coats of mail, and taught women the art of deception by ornamenting the body, dyeing the hair, and painting the face and the eyebrows, and also revealed to the people the secrets of witchcraft and corrupted their manners, leading them into wickedness and impurity until at last he was, at Yahweh's command, bound hand and foot by the archangel Raphael and chained to the rough and jagged rocks of [Ha] Dudael (= Beth \u1e24adudo), where he is to abide in utter darkness until the great Day of Judgment, when he will be cast into the fire to be consumed forever. <a href=\"#_edn5\" name=\"_ednref5\"><strong>[5]<\/strong><\/a><\/pre>\n<p>So, we see that <strong>fallen angel <\/strong>and <strong>rebellious angel <\/strong>is a late Judaic development a midrash on the Nephilim in Genesis 6.<\/p>\n<h2>Why is the devil a goat or the hairy one, and why is he red?<\/h2>\n<p>The devil (or Satan) is portrayed as the \u201chorned one\u201d or the \u201chairy one\u201d and often he is portrayed as a goat.\u00a0\u00a0 Why is that?\u00a0 Well, he is portrayed as a goat because the Jewish priest laid his hands on the head of the scapegoat transferring the sins of the nation to the goat. The goat was then released in the wilderness (dry places) and left to roam.\u00a0 So, in fact, the goat \u2013 the two horned one \u2013 the hairy one \u2013 <strong>is the sinful Jewish nation.\u00a0 <\/strong><em>It is the scapegoat.<\/em> It symbolized the nation being sent into exile (Babylon). The nation was banished from the land.\u00a0 Like Cain was banished from Eden.\u00a0 One goat sent away the other goat slaughtered.\u00a0 Cain sent away (under divine protection) Abel slaughtered.\u00a0 Barabbas (Son of the Father) released, and Jesus slaughtered.\u00a0 Do you understand now?<\/p>\n<p>Why did God exile the nation?\u00a0 Well, he exiled them because he hopes to forgive them and restore them.\u00a0 <strong>He did not command the scapegoat to be killed but exiled.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 On the other hand, the second goat was killed, and its blood made atonement for the nation.\u00a0 However, Jewish legend has it that on one occasion the scapegoat found its way home after release. To prevent this, they took to throwing the scapegoat from a cliff thus pronouncing judgement on themselves.\u00a0 They tried to throw Jesus from a cliff in Luke 4:28-30 but Jesus avoided that because <strong>he was not the goat for Azazel but the goat for Yahweh.<a href=\"#_edn6\" name=\"_ednref6\">[6]<\/a> \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>So, now you know why the devil is portrayed as a hairy goat by why red? \u00a0Well once again we go back to a biblical story of two brothers. One brother (Jacob) used deception to achieve the blessing and the other brother (Esau the progenitor of the Edomites) was quite happy to abandon his inheritance (blessing) for a bowl or red lentils.\u00a0 He is portrayed as a profane man of the flesh who thought the promise of God worthless.\u00a0 He was a very hairy man, and his name means red. So, now you know why the devil is red, horned, hairy and looks like an old goat (lol).\u00a0 One thing must be said \u2013 Jacob\u2019s desire to obtain the blessing is admirable but his method (deception) was despicable.\u00a0 God taught him as much because throughout his whole life Jacob himself was deceived again and again. What goes around comes around.\u00a0 His whole family was dysfunctional because of his behavior.<\/p>\n<h2>Satan is powerless<\/h2>\n<p>Here is the shocker.\u00a0 Satan only has power over those who give into temptation.\u00a0 Satan had no power over Jesus.\u00a0 Satan promised Jesus the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them in Matt 4:8-11\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Jesus refused to worship Satan -which means that <strong>he refused to worship his flesh.\u00a0 <\/strong>Note that he is on a \u201chigh mountain\u201d the same as Moses when he was shown the promised land in Deut 32:49-52 but Moses was told that he could not enter the kingdom <strong>because he had neglected to give God the glory by sanctifying him.<\/strong>\u00a0 It also reminds one of the boasts of Nebuchadnezzar in Dan4:30-31 about the house that he built for <strong>his own glory.\u00a0<\/strong> The Nebuchadnezzar story functions as a midrash on the Jews who had boasted about the glory of their temple etc but were now captives in Babylon.\u00a0 The divine response was to turn Nebuchadnezzar into a beast (ox the symbol of Israel under the law) because that is how God regards the kingdoms of men.\u00a0 <strong>As wild beasts.<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0 The world kingdom at the end of time is simply called <strong>the beast. <\/strong>Jesus was not harmed by the <strong>wild beasts<\/strong> in Mark 1:13 and neither are the witnesses (Rev 11:7) \u2013 only when their three -and-one-half year ministry is complete are they murdered by <strong>the beast<\/strong> (like Jesus was) who ascends out of the abyss. \u00a0In the beginning Satan is portrayed as a serpent:<\/p>\n<pre>\u201cNow the serpent was more subtil than any <strong>beast of the field<\/strong> which the LORD God had made\u201d (Gen 3v1).<\/pre>\n<p>Note that he is <strong>a beast<\/strong> and that God <strong>created him. <\/strong>Elsewhere he is called <strong>that ancient or old serpent<\/strong> and given the aliases, dragon, devil, and Satan (Rev 20:2). From a naturalistic aspect humanity has always feared serpents and Christians are promised power over the serpent (Satan) as in Mark 16:18. This is taken literally by some (you always get a few) but Christianity is not a circus act. From a natural point of view reptiles are survivors from a different age (from before the last catastrophe) and they are ancient, cold blooded and poisonous. The bite that the serpent delivered in Genesis was forbidden knowledge (anyone ever wonder why the apple logo is an apple with a bite out of it?).\u00a0 Man could gain esoteric knowledge and become a god. It is the <em>Causa sui <\/em>of everything that is happening now.\u00a0 I ask myself why Christians are so blind.\u00a0 The technocrats explicitly state that they want to become trans-human\u00a0 (transcend being human). That they want bio-digital convergence.\u00a0 That they will use genetic engineering to achieve this (mRNA platforms anyone?)\u00a0 They even write books about it.<strong> <a href=\"#_edn7\" name=\"_ednref7\">[7]<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0 And yet you remain blind.<\/p>\n<h2>Who then is this Satan?<\/h2>\n<p>Did a snake really talk to Adam or is this a metaphor? The beauty is that it does not matter whether you take it literally or not.\u00a0 The serpent becomes the first liar and the first murderer (he murders humanity with his lie).\u00a0\u00a0 He is the father of all who believe that man can become a god through his own efforts.\u00a0 Jesus said as much to the Jews of his day (John 8:44), <em>and they are at it again.<\/em>\u00a0 They are now the serpent tempting the world with magical powers (sorcery=pharma) that will make them \u201cgods\u201d.\u00a0 They never learn.\u00a0 <strong>Every. Single. Time.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>So, what of does the bible tell us about Satan? \u00a0Well, he wanders around the earth, and he stands before God and God allows Satan to test Job (Job1:6-9) He is obviously allowed to exercise divine power in certain circumstance as with his promise to Jesus.\u00a0 He stands before God (the judge) and acts as prosecutor in the heavenly court casting allegations at Joshua (cf. Jesus) while Michael acts as angel for the defense (Zech 3:1-3). Jude warns us not to disrespect the Devil or rebuke him (Jude 1:9).<strong><a href=\"#_edn8\" name=\"_ednref8\">[8]<\/a><\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0This all seems a bit strange for a rebellious angel given over to evil.\u00a0 Moreover, the name of God and Satan are used interchangeably in parallel passages (compare 1 Chron 21:1 and 2 Sam 24:1).\u00a0 In these parallel passages <strong>God is Satan.<\/strong> God clearly says that he creates both good <em>and evil.<\/em>\u00a0 God creates evil circumstances that does not mean that God <em>is evil.<\/em>\u00a0 How does God create darkness?\u00a0\u00a0 By withdrawing the light. Darkness is the absence of light.<\/p>\n<pre>\u201cI form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these <em>things<\/em>\u201d (Isa 45:7).<\/pre>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is notable that Job argues with God about the calamities that have befallen him and accuses God of making some kind of mistake (lol). He does not take up his appeal against Satan.\u00a0 He wants his day in court to argue his case and asks God for an intercessor. Why is God angry with me?\u00a0 What have I done wrong?<\/p>\n<h2>Harmony in heaven<\/h2>\n<p>There is harmony in heaven.\u00a0 There are certainly no rebellious angels for we are taught to pray that <strong>God&#8217;s will<\/strong> <strong>be done on earth as it is in heaven<\/strong> (Luke 11:2). It is on earth that we have rebellion and on earth that Satan is allowed to exercise proxy power. It is not the angels that are in rebellion but man.\u00a0 God tempts no man (James 1:13-16) but he does test them to see what is really in their hearts. Does Satan give power to certain men to do what is in their hearts?\u00a0 Popular literature calls this making a deal with the devil.\u00a0 <strong>A Faustian bargain,<\/strong> a pact whereby a person trades something of supreme moral or spiritual importance, such as personal values or the soul, for some worldly or material benefit, such as knowledge, power, or riches. &#8230; A Faustian bargain is made with a power that the bargainer recognizes as evil or amoral.<\/p>\n<p>It does seem that some people have inordinate worldly power, and it seems to concentrate in those who are immoral and psychopathic. Job noted that the wicked seem to prosper and die of old age.\u00a0 Did they make a bargain with the devil, so to speak?\u00a0\u00a0 In a way yes.\u00a0 God gave them over to a reprobate mind (Rom 1:28). Like they say, <strong>you become what you worship. <\/strong>In this mindset and without any moral compass they lie, cheat, and murder their way to the top. Sorry for the swearing and blasphemy but <strong>this is how they think \u2013 for real.<\/strong> And he is right the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century <strong>was all his<\/strong> but that is about to end.\u00a0 (A good movie\u2026works well as a parable but lots of profanity \u2013 the devil has a potty mouth).<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Al Pacino&#039;s speech about God (The Devil&#039;s Advocate)\" width=\"614\" height=\"345\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/jARp24AJWLk?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Yes, they see God as an absentee Landlord, but the rent is overdue.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<pre>\u201cWhen the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? <sup>\u00a0<\/sup>They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out <em>his <\/em>vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons\u201d (Matt 21:40).<\/pre>\n<h2>So, Satan is a Rebellious angel?<\/h2>\n<p>That is how Satan is depicted in popular culture. You must make up your own mind. They are not bound by any oath or, allegiance except their own. They are loyal to no government or People but their own. Is the video worth five hours of your time?\u00a0 I would say that it is.<\/strong>\u00a0 I watched the full five hours. I already knew much of this but putting it all together is shocking. The video went up last month.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I believe that this expose is correct. Even many Free Masons are unaware. Many of the celebs and rockers probably think they are being \u201crebellious\u201d and \u201ccool\u201d.\u00a0 It is only the higher degree Masons who are initiated into the real secrets behind the movement.\u00a0 They use the movement to filter out the unsuitable. Curtis et al were disciples of Madame Blavatsky the mother of the New Age. They blend Christianity with the occult but note how even then they talk about a<strong> new magnetic and electromagnetic power<\/strong>.\u00a0\u00a0 Something that they are not telling us perhaps.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Order_of_Christian_Mystics\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/The_Order_of_Christian_Mystics<\/a><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Aleister Crowley was an English occultist and Satanist and ceremonial magician who claimed to have been initiated into <strong>Freemasonry. <\/strong>Thelema is an esoteric and occult social or spiritual philosophy and religious movement (Satanism) developed in the early 1900s by Aleister Crowley, an English writer, mystic, and ceremonial magician. The word thelema is the English transliteration of the Koine Greek noun \u03b8\u03ad\u03bb\u03b7\u03bc\u03b1, &#8220;will&#8221;, from the verb \u03b8\u03ad\u03bb\u03c9 (th\u00e9l\u014d): &#8220;to will, wish, want or purpose&#8221;. His famous commandment was \u2013 \u201cDo what thou wilt\u201d (Do whatever you want).\u00a0\u00a0 That reminded me of the Nike (=victory) logo \u201cJust do it\u201d (supposedly based on the words of a murderer). The whole world is drenched in occultism.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aleister_Crowley\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Aleister_Crowley<\/a><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Jew<\/strong> Anton LaVey was the <strong>founder of the Church of Satan<\/strong> and the religion of Satanism. He authored several books, including The Satanic Bible, The Satanic Rituals, The Satanic Witch, The Devil&#8217;s Notebook, and Satan Speaks!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anton_LaVey\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Anton_LaVey<\/a><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Rosicrucianism is a spiritual and cultural movement that arose in Europe in the early 17th century after the publication of several texts that purported to announce the existence of a hitherto unknown esoteric order to the world and made seeking its knowledge attractive to many. The mysterious doctrine of the order is &#8220;built on esoteric truths of the ancient past&#8221;, which &#8220;concealed from the average man, provide insight into nature, the physical universe, and the spiritual realm.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The manifestos do not elaborate extensively on the matter, but clearly combine references to <strong>Kabbalah, Hermeticism, alchemy, and Christian mysticism<\/strong>\u201d. This was put forth in the Western mystical tradition, a system of mysticism suitable for the Western culture and mindset, encompassing a new interpretation on all former teachings given under the names of Rosicrucianism, Gnosticism and the Western mystery school teachings.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rosicrucianism\">https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Rosicrucianism<\/a><br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>We can go on and on. The Lucius trust and its connection to the UN is very real. Chabad and its push for Noahide laws is also real.\u00a0 All these movements are interconnected. The world is in the grip of Satan.\u00a0 Saul Alinsky, <strong>the Jewish mentor<\/strong> of Hillary Clinton dedicated his book to Lucifer the \u201clight bearer\u201d.\u00a0 \u00a0These people talk about light, but they are blind (2 Cor 4:4) and their body is filled with darkness (Matt 6:22-23).
