However, this passage is not advocating for sexual activity with minors, but rather discussing the legal requirements for marriage in Jewish law, which in that time and culture allowed for early arranged marriages.\r\n\r\nIt is important to note that Jewish law has evolved and adapted over time, and today, the Jewish community strongly opposes any form of sexual abuse, including abuse of minors.
