We are seeing the introduction of a technocratic fascism.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/FrNv4VQbeck\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h1>\u00a0Corona hoax<\/h1>\n<p>There are hashtags trending on Twitter claiming that the virus is a hoax.\u00a0 Of course that is not true because real people are dying but it does look like it is being exaggerated and often the people who die have existing chronic conditions. This is the kind of comparison\u00a0 that is often found in the Tweets.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-5809\" src=\"https:\/\/www.biblaridion.info\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/grc-e1584783530919.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"627\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is pretty damning but look at the date (9 March) and remember what we said about exponential growth (in the previous post).\u00a0 Also, for those other diseases there was no nationwide quarantines. \u00a0 The diseases simply ran their course.\u00a0 Countries that were very late taking measures against Covid19 have seen<strong> fatality rates ramp up.<\/strong> So, we are not comparing like with like. We do not shut down the country for seasonal flu. So, you cannot legitimately compare seasonal flu with Covid19.\u00a0 The only valid way to do that would be to let Covid19 rip around the globe without taking any quarantine measures but such a response would be irresponsible.\u00a0 The CFR in Italy has overtaken that of China. I am sure that as many old people with existing chronic conditions live in China as in Italy.\u00a0 In fact total cases in China is 81,008 compared to 47,021 in Italy and yet China had a lower death rate.\u00a0 That demonstrates that the speed of reaction and how the treatment regime make a big difference. After a slow start China got right on top of it. There are no new cases in China except for people who are now arriving from outside China. \u00a0 These are the up to date figures: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldometers.info\/coronavirus\/#countries\">https:\/\/www.worldometers.info\/coronavirus\/#countries<\/a>.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As I have said before, in the end we will only know after the pandemic has ended and when all the data is collated and properly analyzed.\u00a0 However, even then will we ever know for certain?\u00a0 Science itself has been hijacked and utterly corrupted as the climate change debate\u00a0 has shown.\u00a0 Data and results are manipulated or spun.\u00a0\u00a0 In the end the precautionary principle dictates that we must take preventative action but we must monitor the situation very careful and resist encroaching fascism and authoritarianism. \u00a0 <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Law Changes An excellent report by the UK column about the authoritarian law changes being adopted because of the virus.\u00a0 It follows a similar play book as the patriot act.\u00a0 Use a crisis to introduce new legislation and restrict even more freedoms.
