If all men are made in the image then they are essentially equal and have freewill and also have moral obligations towards each other and towards God. It is a sin to destroy the image of God (your fellow man). As the divine representative humanity was given sovereignty and responsibility over the earth and its creatures (doing a good job aren't we? lolz). Render unto Caesar his image (give him back his coin which bears his image) but render unto God the things that are God's because you are made in the image. (Matt 22:21) This is why they were forbidden to construct idols (false images). God has already constructed his image (we are his image). Bio-digital convergence is reformulating humanity to collectively become a (networked) \"god\" that is omnipresent and omnipotent. It is dystopia on steroids and the erasure of humanity and a direct challenge against God who is consciousness and life itself.
