There is so much propaganda and disinformation and much of it caters to our confirmation biases. China did release &#8220;Deep Seek&#8221; and seem to have an edge on the AI\u00a0 Language Models.\u00a0 So what is true and what is propaganda?\u00a0 I do think the stories about building quality, suppression of any dissent etc. are true.\u00a0 Does China want to be a global hegemon?\u00a0 \u00a0Their history says no.\u00a0 They are using soft-power to conquer the world economically.\u00a0 As for Taiwan&#8230;it was always part of China and the West (particularly the Jews) was behind the rise of Chinese Communisms and also the Nationalist response by Chiang Kai Shek. Would I want to be under the Chinese authority?\u00a0 No. I prefer the fake democracy and corruption of the West.\u00a0 The Chinese have every reason to be angry with the west after 100 years of humiliation.
