This is a lab update from Dr Kevin McCairn.  So far the progress report shows that  none of the hamsters are demonstrating pathologies despite 100x the dose of intracardially administered vaccine.  It is possible that the batches were degraded as they are old.  Dr McCairn is testing out the equipment that he recently set up. The RT-quick or more exactly the RT-QuIC. Real-time quaking-induced conversion (RT-QuIC) is a highly sensitive in vitro assay that detects amyloid proteins and misfolded proteins, such as prions, in biospecimens. RT-QuIC is used to diagnose neurodegenerative diseases, including Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease (CJD), Lewy body disorders, and synucleinopathies. Endotoxins are lipopolysaccharides (LPS) that are found in the outer membrane of Gram-negative bacteria, including E. coli.

Inflammation

LPS from E. coli can induce a strong inflammatory response through the MD2/TLR4 receptor complex. This is because E. coli LPS has six acyl chains in the lipid A, which is the endotoxin that induces toxicity.

Fibril generation
Environmental exposures, including bacterial endotoxins, may cause neurons to generate distinct strains of fibrils. These strains could be transported to the central nervous system (CNS) and cause different types of pathology.

Pathology

LPS-induced signaling and immune dysregulation may be relevant to the pathophysiology of many chronic diseases, including neurodegenerative, metabolic, and cardiovascular diseases.

So far no detection of amyloid formation.  This may be disheartening but progress in real science is slow and it is actually a good sign that we are not getting any sensationalist discoveries.  It is important to establish sound methodologies and rigorous repeatable protocols that will withstand scrutiny as well as establishing the detection limits of the equipment.  Slow and steady is the way to go.
