When Nero  wanted to build his smart city he set fire to the “slums” and blamed the Christians (his mistress Poppaea was a Jewish convert). The more things change the more they stay the same. If you think Maui or the LA fires was due to man-made climate change you need to think again. The only reason they used fire is because dropping 2,000 pound bombs on homes and hospitals might see them accused of a genocide and a land grab.  You can expect a lot more of these fires.
