Parmenides is sometimes described as beginning his study in the Milesian (Ionian) school under the tutelage of Anaximenes. The Ionian school included such thinkers as Thales who was of Phoenician (Canaanite) descent. He was the "founder of rationale science". Phoenicia (Tyre) was condemned because it used its wisdom to enrich itself. They practiced metallurgy, alchemy and mathematics the roots of modern tehnocracy. After the Zenith of Tyre, Phoenician power was transferred to Venice and from thence to the Tudor court of England and eventually across the Atlantic to America. It is defined by Knowledge and mercantilism and occult magic. Whatever "reality" is (or is not) was not meant to be controlled or manipulated by us. "Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart is lifted up, and thou hast said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou art a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God (Ezekiel 28:2)".
