153 Great Fish

Peter was instructed by the risen Jesus to cast his net and draw and he caught 153 Great Fish. The fish (not the cross) became the symbol for early Christianity and the colloquial saying  “gone fishing” probably reflects Peter going back to “normal life” even-though he knew there would be nothing normal about his life ever again.   He was after-all a fisherman.  What else was he supposed to do?  But had not Jesus told them (Matt 4:18): “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

The Number 9 and the 153 fishes

"Jesus saith unto them, Bring of the fish which ye have now caught.  Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken" (John 21:10-11).

153 reduces to 9 (1+5+3) it is Vesica Piscis (measure of the fish) and the triangle of the first 17 integers. “ἰχθύς” in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “ichthys” and equals 1219 reduces to 13 a number denoting rebellion but also peripeteia (a literary term referring to an unexpected reversal of circumstances) as in the story of Esther or the resurrection of Christ a triumph and reversal of rebellion (“Χριστός” in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “Christos” and equals 1480 reduces to 13).

(IKhThUS, “fish”) is an anagram “Ἰησοῦς Χριστός θεοῦ υἱός σωτήρ ” (Jesus Christ of God Son Saviour)in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “Iesous Christos theou uios soter ” and equals 4940 (reduces to 17).

However the text has GREAT FISHES or “ἰχθύων μεγάλων” in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “ichthyon megalon” and equals 2798 (reduction 26 (=8) =YHVH tetragammaton “יהוה” in the Hebrew Gematria system equals 26 and Jesus is 888). “μεγά” in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “mega” and equals 49 (reduction 13) “μεγά ΙΧΘΥΣ” in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “mega IChThYS” and equals 1268 (reduction 17)

The 144,000 in Rev 7:3-8 (144+9) =153

The number 144 is the twelfth Fibonacci number, and the largest one to also be a square,
as the square of 12 (which is also its index in the Fibonacci sequence).
144 reduces to 9 so 144 +9 (=153)=(9+9 =18 =9).

In the LXX “εἶπεν ὁ θεὸς ” (Ex 3:14) in the Greek Isopsephy system transliterates to “eipen o theos ” (I am the being) and equals 504 (reduction 9)

9 = Manifestation of  the I AM (9) or the I WILL BE (9) in a Great Multitude (144/153) the twelfth (=3) and seventeenth (=8) triangular numbers (total 11=2 = theos). The  rebellion (13) of man (666) has been reversed by Christos (13) Jesus (888)
