How to kill the economy
The economy is being deliberately dismantled to make way for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. We will write a separate article describing what the future will probably look like. Most people are still completely unaware. They live in blissful ignorance thinking that they are going to return to “normal” after the virus is over. What they do not understand is that this is the new normal. There will be more waves of the virus. They will come like waves breaking on the sea shore and each time they will erode a bit more of the beach until it disappears altogether. The old economy and the old freedoms will be gradually eroded. The process has started and it is irreversible. The pace will be relaxed at times but the frog will still be slowly boiled.
The new economy will be technocratic. Driven by data and algorithms by AI and robotics. The jobs will simply not be there especially not in manufacturing or even in the service industries. What they could not achieve through Climate Change they have managed to achieve with Covid19.
