The Dissmisal 11.11.1975

11.11.1975 another nice Masonic number that reduces to 26 (lolz) at least it was not like Chile couped on 9.11.1973 (lolz). Good to know that the CIA had nothing to do with it and apparently the Queen didn’t know either.  Just a rogue Govenor General  in the Crown Colony that is Australia.

An Australian constitutional crisis, known as the Dismissal, culminated on 11 November 1975 with the dismissal from office of the prime minister, Gough Whitlam of the Australian Labor Party (ALP), by Sir John Kerr, the governor-general of Australia. Apparently the Government could not get “supply” which is when a minority Government can’t reach agreement to get bills passed (like for example a budget). Basically a paralysis of Government.

Australia elected a  Liberal–Country party coalition with Malcom Fraser as PM …followed by Stagflation in our economic history ( double digit inflation 17% WITH double digit unemployment with double digit interest rates) a huge deficit that gave us our worse ever debt position. The mess was cleaned up by Hawke / Keating and ALL 3 of Gough main policies including Medicare came back, saving us a fortune… and Labor got rid of Frasers 60% top rate of tax, floated the dollar, deregulated the labor market, removal of the Argentina style tariffs (60%) .
