Return of the Archons

I have placed this under the Gnostic tag with the intention of building up a library of information on this important subject.  The relevance of these video clips will become apparent but they reflect important Gnostic themes and the current situation is being driven by the Gnostic-Hermetic dialectic.   These ideas are often introduced via the pop-culture. Here the Gnostic-Hermetic enemy is portrayed in a negative fashion which probably would not happen today but then this is from 1967 against the background of McCarthyism in the 50s and with the Vietnam war against communism still ongoing.

Landru Speaks – Star Trek TOS – Return of the Archons (2 min)

Note the theme of the collective (monad) and transcendence to the absolute good (absorption by the body)

STAR TREK TOS RETURN OF THE ARCHONS clip1 LandruSpeaks (4 min)

Note that Landru is Artificial Intelligence. Someones brain from 6,000 years ago has been uploaded to the computer.  Could this represent Hermes Trismegistus?   Landru is an anagram of Lurdan which is a blockhead or stupid person also an evildoer, wicked person.

Star Trek TOS “Return of the Archons” – Eddie Steak commentary

The “Festival” in the return of the Archons served as the inspiration behind the 2013 film The Purge, and the subsequent media franchise it spawned.   We noted some time back that the Trump campaign slogan Keep America Great (KAG) is based on the Jewish horror movie the Purge.  Apparently the intention of the “Festival” is to keep population numbers in check.
