Fishing the Ocean Empty

This really is the tradegdy of the commons.  The Ocean belongs to no one and to everyone and therefore nobody takes responsibility.  It should be made illegal to switch of tracking and strict import/export quotas and catch quotas enforced.  Human greed is the problem and this time it is China who is the main culprit.  Perhaps ban industrialized “factory ships” and only allow small fishing boats who have to return home with their catches.  The fishing boats nowadays have sonar and huge nets. Everything man does is stupid and selfish and it does not matter whether the ideology behind it is capitalist or communist.  The fish still die and it is not sustainable.

No matter “climate change”  will soon make it impossible to plunder the Oceans.  A couple more of the huge cyclonic storms and mega waves should fix it. The sunken factory ships should make good nurseries for fish.  From my mouth to God’s ear.
