Long Covid Neuroscience

A short stream by Dr McCairn highlighting two scientific papers that discuss long-term squelae as a consequence of Covid.  Dr McCairn was correct in highlighting the viral infection of the basal ganglia causing fatigue, brain fog depression and anxiety Genomic Determinants of Long COVID and another paper (starts at 56 min) Persistent circulation of soluble and extracellular vesicle-linked Spike protein in individuals with postacute sequelae of COVID-19 which looks at how “free floating” spike persists also in the form of extra cellular vesicles that form a pseudo virus and which can enter immune privileged regions (like the brain and testes etc). In other words it is not just the vaccine that is dangerous but the original infection is dangerous and can have long term incapacitating consequences months afterwards even for those who only experienced a mild initial infection.
