To Flip or not to Flip

The Ben Davidson school of magnetic excursion at Suspicious Observers predicts a complete pole flip and mantel decoupling causing a huge global tsunami that sweeps the continents.  I think that is doom porn.   The magnetic excursion will cause increased seismic and volcanic activity and regional flooding.  The weak point in my view is the African Continent and particularly the Rift valley fault which extends up the Jordan valley and Bekaa valley into Turkey.   Diamond from Magnetic excursion is much more based with his view.
