I pay cash into my bank account to pay my bills. If the banks do not accept cash how do the bills get paid? This is criminal. I will be placing this on my website every day until OCT 31 and letting everyone I meet know about it. These people are criminals and bullies. It is as simple as that. Lose cash and you become a complete slave.

These people are snakes. They even use semantics and trickery in the language to draw up the legislation.

OPPOSE the proposed CASH ACCEPTANCE regulations!

Someone's comment: I live in regional Victoria. We've got plenty of shops and other businesses that ONLY accept cash. We don't even have reliable internet so we have to have cash around here.

My Submission:

In Australia, cash is legal tender, but businesses are not currently required to accept it. This is of course nonsense. If it is a legal means of tender, then it should be accepted hence the push to mandate the acceptance of cash. However, this sneaky regulation only mandates it for the supermarket monopolies and fuel stations. This is a narrowing of the options. In other words, cash becomes a supermarket coupon until they abolish it completely as they will when they have removed the remaining competition. This is death by a thousand cuts. The last bank on Tasmania's West Coast in Queenstown was recently shutdown with no regard to the regional hardship caused to small businesses. We are told that cash leads to money laundering when we see insiders making $192 million shorting crypto because they knew tariffs were proposed. We take note of all the malfeasance and criminality as you try to force us into a digital control grid. Cash is King and removing an easy exchange mechanism and turning it into a single point of failure which is liable to be hacked or shut down by natural disasters is folly. Moreover, it deliberately marginalizes those who are already vulnerable. The elderly and the homeless. We reject your dehumanizing panopticon, your track and trace and the restrictions on spending our own hard earned as this will inevitably follow (including debanking). Mandate the use of cash everywhere all the time and set up a postal people's bank. Enough is enough. And stop treating us like fools.
