I watch a video with Sam Altman saying that China is winning the AI race and then I watch the “Robotics Olympics “on this channel (lolz). There is so much propaganda and disinformation and much of it caters to our confirmation biases. China did release “Deep Seek” and seem to have an edge on the AI  Language Models.  So what is true and what is propaganda?  I do think the stories about building quality, suppression of any dissent etc. are true.  Does China want to be a global hegemon?   Their history says no.  They are using soft-power to conquer the world economically.  As for Taiwan…it was always part of China and the West (particularly the Jews) was behind the rise of Chinese Communisms and also the Nationalist response by Chiang Kai Shek. Would I want to be under the Chinese authority?  No. I prefer the fake democracy and corruption of the West.  The Chinese have every reason to be angry with the west after 100 years of humiliation. They have long memories.
