And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not.(2 Peter 2:3)

Third strand DNA is a thing. Who knew? Apparently the expression of certain genes can be controlled if you transfect a cell with TFO’s.
Definition. Triplex-forming oligonucleotides bind in the major groove of duplex DNA in a sequence-specific manner through the formation of hydrogen bonds. They can be used to inhibit the expression of particular genes.
By introducing TFOs into a cell (through transfection or other means), the expression of certain genes can be controlledhttps://t.co/I9LXaEB5tb

Do you think third strand DNA has anything to do with this:
Curious. That’s triple helix; but humans have double helix
Interesting article here about triple helix DNA. Not sure I understand it. But one sentence did jump out at me: “… H-DNA structure may be pharmacologically exploitable.”
