Russian Orthodoxy

Putin is being championed by certain elements in the West for his stance on Christianity (Russian Orthodoxy) and his emphasis on family values. However all is not as it seems. It is not just Christian-Zionists who are using religion for political-ideological reasons.

the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC) has an extensive, deeply rooted network of affiliates, dioceses, and parishes across the West, including the United States, Canada, Western Europe, and Australia.

These connections operate through two primary channels: direct branches controlled by the Moscow Patriarchate and semi-autonomous affiliate branches that have formally reconciled with Moscow.

The Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia (ROCOR)

This is the largest affiliate network. ROCOR was formed in the 1920s by Russian bishops who fled the Bolshevik Revolution and refused to pledge loyalty to the Soviet regime. For nearly 80 years, ROCOR operated entirely independently of Moscow, branding itself as the “true” free Russian church in exile. Its headquarters are in New York City.

Aleksandr Dugin the influential Russian “philosopher” sometimes called “Putin’s brain” is a problem as he is part of the Dark Enlightenment” movement and seeks to use Orthodoxy to promote Russian nationalism but he is a fan of the satanist Alistair Crowley. Dugin is not a Christian.

Jay Dyer’s Promotion of Aleksandr Dugin (18 min)

Think Tank Arm: The Katehon think tank is established as the intellectual and geopolitical arm of Malofeev’s network, with Dugin serving as Editor-in-Chief [11] [12] [13].

  • Jay Dyer’s Complete Involvement: American commentator Jay Dyer officially integrated into the Malofeev/Dugin media ecosystem in the following documented ways:
    • Official Profile: Dyer is registered as a listed author on Katehon.com and Geopolitika.ru with his own contributor profile page [14] [15].
    • Published Articles: Dugin’s Geopolitika.ru published two of Dyer’s articles (e.g., “Turkey’s Shift Towards Russia”, “The Esoteric Message of Hollywood”) in July 2016. Katehon published one of Dyer’s articles, “The Esoteric Message of Hollywood,” in July 2016. [16] [17].
    • Katehon Interview: Dyer gave an interview for the Katehon think tank regarding his book Esoteric Hollywood: Sex, Cults and Symbols in Film (not conducted directly by Aleksandr Dugin) [18] [19].
    • Dugin Interview: Dyer conducted a direct, one-on-one video interview with Aleksandr Dugin on his own platform, Jay’s Analysis. The recorded interview took place on March 12, 2016 [20] [21]. During this broadcast, Dyer effusively credentialed Dugin for his American audience, praising him as a visionary philosopher. They found deep ideological alignment by mutually condemning Western liberalism, with Dyer actively promoting Dugin’s Eurasianist concepts. Both men explicitly agreed on the necessity of a multipolar world order to counter American global hegemony.
    • Continuous Amplification: Dugin’s network actively cross-promotes and recirculates the Dugin/Dyer interview to build Dyer’s profile. Geopolitika.ru officially mirrored and promoted the interview on their platform in June 2017 [22]. In 2021, Aleksandr Dugin also directly platformed and promoted Dyer to his followers on his personal Facebook page [23]. Furthermore, as recently as December 2025, Dugin’s official Substack and international YouTube channel reposted Dyer’s interview [24], serving as a crucial marker that Dugin continues to promote Dyer as an ideological ally to this day.
    • Multi-Year Social Media Promotion: Dyer has consistently pushed and defended Dugin’s geopolitical concepts to his followers on X (formerly Twitter) across multiple years [25] [26] [27] [28] [29].
    • Dyer Course Offering: Dugin’s Paideuma.tv hosts Dyer’s lecture series on Metaphysics & Traditional Philosophy [30].
    • Dugin’s Book Platforming: During a 2017 stream, Dyer recommended and promoted Aleksandr Dugin’s foundational geopolitical book, The Fourth Political Theory [31] [32] [33] [34]. Dyer explicitly instructed his audience to read the book to understand the conflict between Russia and the West, actively teaching them how to weaponize Dugin’s arguments against the West.
    • Ideological Tagging: Dyer actively tags his own independent geopolitical analysis covering topics like the Syrian conflict, the World Economic Forum, and Western culture wars with the “Dugin” tag on his website. Dyer uses Dugin’s philosophical framework as a lens to interpret current events for his audience [35]. He similarly tags occultist René Guénon alongside his interview with Dugin. This represents a shared esoteric lineage, as Dugin honors Guénon’s Traditionalism, and Dyer’s spiritual “father” Seraphim Rose also studied him [36].
    • Deleted Website Articles: Dyer repeatedly pushed Dugin’s ideas through dedicated articles on his personal website, Jay’s Analysis. Although these articles have since been deleted from the site, the promotional tweets linking to them remain active on X [37] [38] [39] [40].
    • InfoWars Amplification: Council for National Policy Member Alex Jones has Dyer host InfoWars and platforms him [41], while Jones has also platformed Aleksandr Dugin multiple times.
    • Our Interesting Times: On October 2, 2017, host Tim Kelly explicitly brings up Dyer’s coverage of Dugin, stating: “You talked about Dugan [Dugin], this Russian philosopher’s Fourth Way Political Theory… which is sort of a reaction to Anglosphere globalism.” Dyer uses this framing to launch into his critique of the West: “You can look at previous empires which actually did raise the living standards and improved people’s lives. I mean, the Orthodox Byzantine imperium, I think, has a lot of positive aspects to it.” [42]
