Of course, even with revised numbers it is still not believable.   Attempts have been made to calculate the true numbers by extrapolating from emissions. Most Chinese cities are covered in smog. The drop in emissions (and therefore economic activity) does not bode well. In some places it is probably the first time the Chinese have seen a clear sky.  Also there seems to be unrest in some cities.  In the end everybody is lying. China is lying and covering up and the West is lying and exaggerating. This is the world we created…be proud. Power is more important than life, profits are more important than truth.  Only time will tell how serious this is.  The virus seems to have a long lag time (asymptomatic incubation).
