Humanity does not control the weather and never will. Climate change is natural and not man made. Geoengineering can only make regional differences but in doing so it adds more chaos and unpredictability to the system. Why are they doing it then? I suspect that it has to do with decreasing the harmful solar radiation as we near the end of the cycle. The harmful solar radiation consists of UVA, UVB, and UVC rays, all part of the ultraviolet (UV) radiation spectrum. UVC is the most dangerous, but is absorbed by the atmosphere and doesn’t reach the Earth’s surface. UVB is also dangerous and can cause sunburn and skin cancer, while UVA penetrates deeper into the skin and contributes to premature aging and skin cancer. It has very little to do with decreasing “heat” because the earth is not warming significantly and if anything we are headed into a Grand Solar Minimum.
