DEBATE: WILL GOLD REPLACE THE US DOLLAR? – w/ Peter Schiff & George Gammon (1:03 min)
My Comment: Great Debate. Gammon knows his stuff but so does Schiff. The Networking effect is real but here is the kicker.....when you start using the dollar as a weapon and employing sanctions and tariffs then you undo the network effect. Yes, money (fiat) is created ex-nihilo and therefore it will eventually reach its true value which is zero.
Furthermore, the dollar as reserve currency is indirectly backed by energy (oil) and Trump is doing his best to destroy the petro-dollar. Gold will never replace the monetary system but it will act as a store of wealth on which there are no counter-party claims, hence the central banks are stacking. The stable Genius Trump is attempting to weaken the dollar by introducing stable coin (tether) and the Genius act forcing tether to buy treasuries whereby the interest is used to buy gold. It is the ultimate rug pull. But what do I know? I am not an economist. I like simple stuff. If you don't hold it you don't own it....and even if you hold it, they will come for it. Perilous times ahead. May all who love not the Lord be Maranatha Anathema. Hold fast, the cycle change is upon us...both in the natural world (magnetic excursion) and the world of mammon. Chose wisely on whose side you stand.
